oseph Maria Olbrich (1867-1908) is famed for his Vienna Secession building (1898) and the Hochzeitsturm, or Wedding Tower, in Darmstadt (1908). An advocate of the gesamtkunstwerk, his designs covered interiors, gardens, a cornucopia of practical and decorative objects, prints and complete architectural exhibitions.
